Changing Y pipe?

I put the SPD y-pipe on mine when I put headers on. I can attest that the combination made a great improvement in the throttle response and power on the low end.
From what I've read, I can give 90% of the credit to the y-pipe. Others have installed headers and didn't feel much difference while others have installed the y-pipe (with stock manifolds) and felt alot of difference.
I can't really think of any cons to the aftermarket y-pipes, particularly on a 5.4L truck.
