Question trailer blinkers/ wiring

2000 ford excursion no signal to ome 7 pin for left / right turn signal for trailer/ where is relay or fuse located// and seems trailer brakes don't want to release completely

On the trucks, the fuses for the trailer tow turn are under the hood in the aux fuse box on the left fender. Probably the same on the excursion. You should also have lost both rear brake lights if my memory serves me correctly. As far as the trailer brakes not releasing, I personally have seen two different configurations for the wiring on the 7 pin plug where they swap the auxillary power wire and the brake wire depending on how the trailer is wired. You might also check your emergency breakaway switch on your trailer and make sure its not activated. If there is power on both wires coming out of the switch it is bad.

Smile Trailer wiring

Found bad connection on fuses. Blinkers working. Along with break lights. Still working on trailer breaks
