here's one for ya
1990 f150 fi 302 e4od 4x4
when i get out of my truck and close the driver door you can hear the fuel pump cycle, or any time you close the driver door the fuel pump cycles, and when I start the rig it turns and turns and turns and then starts, runs fine no problems just wondering what might be causing the fuel pump to cycle, friends say that the starting is common for a ford fuel injected and it don't bother me I just wanted to know if any of you guys experience this

Got me on that one.
Are you saying the pump cycles just by opening the door??
As far as starting, I have never had a EFI Ford that did not fire right away. My carb'd Bronco however, turns several times before lighting off...............
