I know this should probably be in a different section but hey ... its going in my 2010 ford
Just wondering if anyone has any experience with BULLZ amp kits ... they are pretty cheap on ebay and I need a 4 gauge kit to power my 4 channel and mono amps
I've had good luck with Streetwires kits. Just make sure you have enough cable and the kit is rated a tad above whatever the max wattage for the amp is.
Are you sure about the 4ga? The good news is wire is mostly wire. The higher the strand count in the wire, the more flexible. A nicer jacket will more abrasive resistant and look better. However there will be little difference in power transmission.
The interconnects though can effect sound quality. With a great installation, you can get by with cheap RCAs, but for a noisier install you'd be a head to do it once with good RCAs.
Welding leads work really well for this. They have tough jackets and made to carry current. They can be cheaper than buying retail car audio power cable.
