When do you usually replace your battery?

I just recently replaced the 18 yr old battery in my girlfriends mothers Ramcharger. I was amazed at the age and that the battery lasted so long, but then she only drives about 100 miles a week. I would think that a battery wouldn't last long at all.

Agreed, Why waste money if your battery is still good? Buy a good battery and it'll last you. Since my truck isn't road worthy just yet I kept my batt in the basement for the winter last year. It's 4 yrs old and still starts like it's new. It's the yellow top 1000 cca Duralast from Autozone.
