I have someone giving me a 460 from and '89 F350 I have a '73 F100 I want to put it in. Who makes an intake manifold that will fit the '89 so I can make it a carburated engine? I looked into edlebrock and acording to their online catalog they dont have anything that fits a 460 made after '88? Anyone have any ideas?
I am not sure on the but the reason whu they dont have any thing is because you have to get different heads because yours is efi right? I am not sure if port matching will even work.

Hey thanks. Yeah it is an efi. I'm pretty much stumped...
The ports on both the intake and exhaust are so different, rectangular more than oval that a carbed manifold will never fit.
What you need is a carburetor adapter that fits the EFI lower manifold and is made by Price Motorsports.
Last I checked they were about $120.
Part #CS-460EFI
The EFI ports flow far better than the carbed ones anyhow...
