Well , if a f150 had the same load carrying capacity of an f250 then we wouldn't need any f250's would we...........The f250 ps box is much stronger Because it is moving aset of larger tires and wheels that are attached too an axle that is carrying a LOAD that can be Double the load placed upon an f150 front axle.......Then you get into the add'tl increase of weight involved with the 4x4 situation and that's even more of a load for the PS box to have too deal with.............Go to a parts store and have them PULL an f150 ps box and then Pull a ps box for a 78 or 79 f250 , 4x4 ps box and compare the Two.......fd

Is your '75 a power assist type? You can get all the parts for a late '77 thru '79 power steering. Not easy but doable. Steer and Gear in Columbus, Ohio manufactures parts to rebuild all of these systems. 614-231-4064
