I know that not everyone will agree with President Bush on everything he decides to do but listen people when it comes to a War like this we need to support our troops and stand behind our President. The guy is doing what he thinks is best for the U.S.A and wants to protect all of us from any further terrior attacks. I don't agree with everything President Bush says but I won't talk bad about him when he is trying to help his Nation and do whats best.
Everyone is entitled to their view and you can protest or you can support.
But once President Bush decides to go to War I think the protestors need to stop once he gives the ok to go to war, and stand behind the President and our Troops...
I hope I don't offend anyone
just wanted to give my 2 cents...
Once we are at war, many actions the peaceniks are doing would be considered "Giving aid and comfort to the enemy" a punishable offense. I suspect now, in our wishy washy ways, we won't prosecute these activities as we might have before the Vietnam War.
Once we go we should back our troops til the job is done.
Let them protest all they want, as long as it is on American soil. If they leave the U.S. don't let them back in. They made their choice and they can live with it.
They have the right to voice thier opinion here in the U.S., we can't take away that right. However, I am not certian but I would guess they don't have the same right in parts of the Middle East.
There may be an alternative to war, but I trust Bush and trust that he explored all options and considered the best alternative for the people before choosing war.
if you REALLY wanna show support for our troops, go to one of the Pro-America rallies this weekend. im going to the one here in cleveland on sunday. if you go to glennbeck.com, their is a list of rallies for our troops all over the country this weekend.
Regardless of your personal opinion on this issue, you are an American. You have the responsibility to support America.
Many people died to give you the freedom you have today. Being an American is not a right, it is a RESPONSIBILITY! As such, when your country calls upon you for support, you give it. 110%. That is the price you pay to live so free.
I for one think it is a small price to pay. If I need to give my life to provide the freedoms to future generations, I will do so willingly, as the thousands before me have.
