Not only is this a bad coin holder, the tray is a pain. The rear bracket falls off all the time so I'm going to see if I can figure out how to make one that slides forward and backward.

Agree with you on that. I had images of a cool multi-use file-folder/storage bin and the current arrangement doesn't cut it for me. I'm still waiting for someone to come up with a really cool organizer that allows file folders and sectional storage.
the coin storage works well for me. it might seem strange, but the angled design makes them easier to get out than the ones in my old truck. I do agree about that stupid rear bracket though...what is the purpose of that thing? Why didn't they just make the tray an inch longer?
Ford has always had problems making a solid designed center console. My ALL TIME favorite was in my 1983 Ranger. It had a plastic slider that covered the console opening. Can you guess how long before the plastic wore and stupid thing came off of the track?
You would think they would look what people put in them and design them better. The same goes for the stupid cup holders.
I was wondering about that. I thought the holes fit coins for whatever country the console was manufactured in. I need to go out and try to put some in at an angle now.
