coolant leak on engine
I have an 03 F250 with the 6.0, in the past few cold mornings i have developed what i refer to as a cold leak. I have seen this on some of the big rigs i use to drive. This appears to be coming from the top right hand side of the engine in the rear of the head gasket location. Has anyone else seen this on the 6.0 as this is my first ford diesel.

Look down under the turbo and you'll prob see an orange hose, looks like a crappy garden hose, that's your problem. You'll have to replace it with the upgraded blue hose. It's cheap but it'll take a you a few hours swapping it out.

welcome to FTE, i to just had this problem. i had water under truck look like it was coming from head and block in the back. its the little hose, connects egr cooler to oil cooler. the hose is about 3 inch long, cost 53 bucks, they bend you over for this one. but it is a pretty high tect hose. if go back and find my post, its got how to info and pics

its me,go to page 10, look for thread need help with egr cooler hose install,it will tell you how to do it,and what tools you need. one thing i did learn, there are two 30 torex bolts one of them, not much room , take a 1/4'' boxed end wrench and epoxy a 30 torex bit in it. then you can get to it
