I have a 1966 f 100 long bed with a 352 fe and 3 on the tree. Im trying to figure out what the switch on the passanger side by the glove box does it looks OEM any help would be great
My truck is identical to yours except that i have an auto tranny, on mine, the 4-way switch is a pull switch under the instrument cluster. I don't have any switch on the passenger side..
and my vents are manual-open under the dash..
I have looked at many trucks in the salvage yard also and never seen any switch on the pass side. it could be some sort of dealer add-on item. I would try to trace the wires and see where they go.
I pulled the switch and it said ford on it . when i traced the wires they went up the pillar and under the head liner . could this have been for a dealer installed dome light . There is not a dome light in the truck now or a switch on the driverside.
