EGR valve removal??
Ha ha,, has this been talked about before??? I know you guys are gonna think i'm lazy for not reading the ton written about this, and i have read some, and i suppose i am some lazy too. (and i'll continue reading) But if someone could just give me the short version? I trust that yall have done the research and know what you are talking about. What improvement will I see by just unplugging it?? I"ve read that some say it makes it quieter at idle and im not crazy about that.( i like a diesel in the morning). I dont care about fuel mileage much. I dont have hardly any turbo lag now,, least not that i know of. The codes that may show up, can they just be there without causing any problems?? I even think I read somewhere that it may have an effect on the fan (I thought) but my fan hardly comes on anyway. Just a quickie guys,, dont mean to make anyone work to hard on this. I have a 2005 with almost 80,000 miles and no problems. I do have the Bulletproof diesel egr cooler and oil cooler. anything else you need I think is in my sign. thanks guys. Herb
