Good traction in snow is given by soft rubber, while this is going to wear out pretty fast.
You have to settle your priority.
Good road tires last 60-80,000 miles.

well I dont want road tires but I also dont want mud tires that are going to wear fast. Example- 9,000 miles on Hankook DynaPro MT 295/75/16. If I can get like 15-20,000 miles out of a set of mud tires that is fine.

I just posted this in another thread. I had a set of 33x10.5x15 BF Goodrichs on my '95 F-150 that i got 11rs and a 100,000 miles out of. Liked them so much i put another set on it this yr. Hope they last as long the old ones did.
