A/C Vent Only Temperature Too Warm

My air conditioning system works well, much better than all the previous Suburbans I owned which never got cold in summer or really warm in winter. 1988,1998, 2000 models all included. My 2001 Limited Excursion without automatic climate control is very satisfactory with the exception of the vent setting, that is, the one that doesn't turn the compressor on. I like to use this frequently year round. In all other vehicles I have owned, this puts out air taken from outside so if the Temp setting is turned to the coldest setting and the air outside is cool or cold, the delivery from the vents should match. On my Ex, the air is always much warmer than it should be. All else works well it just seems like when on vent, the air is being warmed somehow between outside and vent delivery. Ideas?

I noticed the same thing too. 65 deg outside and the vent is blowing warm air with the temp control all the way to cold...
