I have a 2004 4x4 with a bad front rotor, before i get started i would like to know what i am in for and what tools and parts i need before i jack it up then have to run to the parts store.
You will need to replace both front rotors not just the bad one, always in pairs.
You only need to pull the caliper/mounting bracket off to replace the rotor. 21MM, 17MM socket will do the trick. It takes longer to put it on stands and remove the wheel than it does to get the rotors off. Very easy job.
