transmission problems

I've got a 97 F150 4.6l 4speed manual with overdrive (I guess a 5 speed lol). Anyway, Upon pulling out of my driveway I was able to go into 1st, 2nd and 3rd but noticed it was rather difficult to go into 4th and 5th gear. I was able to drive it to work.

When The engine is running, I now can't shift into any gear. When I turn the engine off I can. I had the clutch replaced about 2 months ago. Any ideas what may be causing this?
I was thinking that maybe the slave is shot since. There has not been any weird noises or anything like that from the transmission. Slave cylinider. Check fluid level. Syncro's may be shot also.
