6.0 Charging Issue
I am trying to figure out my father in laws 2004 6.0 250 SD. You can start and drive the truck when its cold and everything is good. Once the engine gets up to operating temp the battery light comes on and the alternator puts out nothing. Let it sit and cool down and it runs fine again until it gets to operating temp , then it quits charging and light comes on.
I have checked alternator , batteries , connections and wiring with no luck.
I heard somewhere that there was a TSB out for this problem , but I can't find it.
Anybody had this problem or know of the TSB-Recall?
