2011 Fog lights, Whats the deal?

Any particular reason why?
The w/fog headlight switch operates the fog lights independent of the other lights. The only requirement is that the parking lights be on, and the brights off. There is a very simple modification that will allow fogs to be on with brights, but no documented modification that will turn the fogs on alone.
Using an upfitter to control the fogs, in my opinion, is a severe waste of a relay, as you will make an on w/ignition switch control a relay that controls a relay. It will also take an intimate knowledge of the headlamp wiring to know what could backfeed while the fog lights are on.
The best way to control the fog lights with an upfitter switch would be to abandon the factory wiring and run your own.

Fog Light and Auto-switch not working
After installing all the parts, my fog-lights aren't working. I noticed my truck did not have a fuse so, I bought one and installed. Still no luck.
At the same time I purchased the auto-switch and sensor. When in auto setting, and during the day, the headlights always switch on. My other Ford's with Auto headlights do not turn on during the day.
The parts plug together. It's pretty straigh forward so I can't see it being a wiring problem.
Could it be a bad switch? Thoughts? Suggstions?

It's probably been covered already but I figured I'd throw in my two cents. I just installed my kit that I got off ebay. I started with the headlight switch in the dash. first I pulled the side panel off the dash right next to the headlight switch (the one you can only get to if the door is open. pretty easy it just pops right off. it took me a little bit but I was able to pop out the old switch by compressing the three spring loaded locking tabs on the switch and pulled it out. there was enough wiring harness for me to pull it and then unplug it. then it was just a matter of plugging in the new switch and popping it in place.
next up was the the fog lights themselves. first I removed the the black plastic covers where the fog lights were supposed to be. then I removed the bumper bracket brace directly behind it. (keep in mind, I did this entire job with a 1/4" ratchet, 8mm socket, 13mm socket, and a flashlight.) next up was to install the foglight assembly and bezel. it took a little bit of maneuvering but it did finally go in place. the four sheet metal nuts go one the four plastic posts of the bezel once installed. the posts are smooth plastic but the nuts are self-tapping. (don't install these until last.) once I had both sides installed and the bumper brackets back in place, I looked on how to wire it up. I found the truck's wiring harness ready to go right underneath the radiator support/frame crossmember, mounted to the frame with a block-off cap over the connector. I removed the cap and plugged in the fog light wiring the kit came with, strung the wires over the top of each frame rail, plugged them in and tested the lights. everything worked correctly so I proceeded to attach all the little plastic plugs where I could find holes in sheet metal. the first one I started with was at the connector on the radiator support. then I just worked my way to each light. done and done.
I would sort of be surprised if someone else hadn't already posted instruction on this but I figured what the hell. this was on a 2011 f250 XLT crewcab by the way.

I too am looking to add. Yet I want amber. I have aux driving lights and yellow works better for me in the snow. Problem with new trucks, not finding to many add-on's right now. Looking at somthing similar to attachment. I need to crawl underneath and see what size bulb I can fit. Would consider stock if it comes in amber but I have no beef with a non-stock light.
Also thinking Light force 4" with amber diffuser.
I already have (4) 9" on the front for driving lights. Bullet proof given our roads and winter... Light Force Lancd 140 with Yellow Wide Filter...

08-11 Ford F250 & F350 & F450 Fog Light Protection Kit
I actually came across it today so I just had to go into my history pages and find it.
this one is more like that thick film you put on your cell phone to protect it from scratches but it should do everything you want.
