I know I asked about a dual fuel chip for my 96 F250/460 5spd. What I forgot to ask was does the chip control the advance curve in the dizzy and is it possible to have 2 different curves and limits (One for gas, one for propane).
Also if I make changes to the engine after getting a chip, ie headers/ fuel pressure/compresion ratio, do I need to burn a new chip or just have it reprogrammed?
Yes, the chip controls the spark timing. Its possible to have two curves, but you need a switch chip for it. A standard chip can't be programmed for two programs. If you plan to stick gas or propane, but not both, then a standard chip can be reprogrammed for the changes.
