wow 12. lol i have only considered put an 8in. nut on the subject. i would not duabt that you would be able to run 44s if you really wanted to. i wouldnt go bigger than 40s with stock axles. plus the 40s wouldnt look too bad eather.

I don't know that I'd even go with 40" tires with the stock axles. I just happened to scan through a copy of Four Wheeler magazine in the store today. They had an article about lift/tire combos for various vehicles. Don't remember what it said though.

You better be thinking about something in the range of 5.13's or even lower (higher number) if you go that big. Where did you find a 12" lift?

I agree with mrwizard completely. That kind of tire and wheel weight to be slung around by the stock axles is asking for trouble. Just out of curiosity, how long are the rear spring packs for a FOOT of lift? I certainly hope you are talking about longer springs and not just enough blocks to achieve that height.

Just a side note. I would seriously consider a good roll bar.

im changeing the axles to dana 60's. im going to put a 351w with about 500 hourses, a new beefed up C6 tranny and transfer case, i'll find the right gears. and im also thinking about a 2 inch body to go with it. what do you think?
