rpm meter
does anyone know were the rpm sensor on my truck is or how to calculate it,

its in the distributor... there is a magnetic pick up and a reluctor ring...
after market ones u have to follow their directions... just be sure u have a good ground...
my factory tach is a pos and jumps about 1k rpms higher... junk...
but dont hold me to the first part of what i said... i havent messed with many ford ones soooo i may be wrong

are you tryin to install a tach easy way to do it and keep it stock is to find a factory gauge cluster with a tach built in

im tryin to get the thing tuned, it says m truck is idleing a 300 rpm

The neg side of the coil will give you your tack read out ...Lew
