Stupid Question

I noticed some corrosion on the terminals when changing the fuel filter. Never taken the truck off the batteries. Question I have is there a certain order or process that they need to be removed so I can clean the terminals. Or should I leave one battery attached while I clean the other and vise versus. Sorry for the stupid question but first time 7.3 owner.

If you do one at a time, you won't have to reset your clock.

Just keep in mind that if you unhook the positive battery post on the battery that has the second battery cable running through it, it's energized with 12v. in case you touch the connection against a metal ground... I found that out once.

careful of the positive cable when removed. Wouldn't that one stay 'hot' if the other battery is still connected?
Edit, sorry, already covered...
