Will my AC compressor pulley fall off?
Today I took my F350 6.0L to work, when I got there I noticed a small clutch plate on the ground in front of the truck. I picked it up, it was hot... so it had just fallen off, strange. I am really lucky this plate didn't fall of on the freeway, it could have killed someone.
My question is will the pulley stay intact for another week of use until I can get it into the shop or will the whole AC compressor disintegrate, along with the front of the 6.0L motor.

Without seeing it, can't make promises. But the pulley is held onto the snout of the compressor with a snapring. If that is indeed intact, then yes, you can drive it for a while till you have the clutch replaced.
