F250 Powerstroke

Fuel filter light is on change filter truck getting fuel would not stay running now will not start

I know on Cummins engines, you have to pump the manual fuel pump awhile after changing the filter to bleed the air out of the system.

F250 Powerstroke

you need to open the black plastic cover under the hood that says POWERSTROKE on it. Under there, you will find the valve used for draining off excess water from the fuel. Try opening the valve and cranking the engine over, and make sure you have fuel coming out into a glass jar or something. You have air in the system.
