Tire question
I've never dealt with tires before, so I would like some help.
On my '78 250, the tires that it has are 116/112, or 9.5R16.5LT. I am looking into a set of alloy wheels that currently have (balding) 35x16.5 BFG's. Will the tires that I have now fit? or will I need different tires?

Most likely the 35/16.5's are on 16.5x9.75 sized rims and yes, those are too wide for your 9.50R16.5 tires. I believe 9.50R16.5 tires should be mounted on a 16.5x8.25 rim. It's been a while since I have looked into narrow rims.
