Prolonged shifting with smoke
I have an 03 F350 Lariat 6.0L with 220 000km. Lately when accelerating my truck seems to hold a shift, or pauses between shifts. When this happens it starts to blow smoke like crazy. The truck doesn't really smoke other than at this time. It doesn't do it all the time but is becoming more frequent. Also it does not appear to matter if the truck is cold or warm. Any ideas to start troubleshooting would be greatly appreciated. Oh and one more thing the battery light will come on every once and a while, sometimes for 10 seconds sometimes for half a second, don't think that these are in anyway related just thought that I would mention it.
