Ok guys, been trying to get this thing done for about 2 days now. Multiple sites have shown that it CAN be done but i've yet to see anyone actually show it BEING done or how to.
I can't for the life of me get the back seat to fold DOWN so that I can mount an Amplifier on the back wall of the 2010 SCREW cab.
PLEASE....anyone, can you please let me know where this **** is that can be released back behind the seat that will allow the seat to be folded DOWN?
One thing that has been left out each time i've ever heard it explained is that you really need to take out the headrest!!! It makes it much MUCH easier.
Now that it's been done it is a piece of cake to get it down. Only thing that will fit back there is an amplifier which is all I needed to put back there.
Hint: once popped loose, tie a piece of string around the lock "pin" (decent nylon stuff) and use Gaffers tape or similar to tape it to the back of the seat, low enough you can't see it but high enough you can easily grab it. Pull the headrests, give the string a tug, and you're done.
