DANA 60 INFO NEEDED
On my 78 F250 rear axle shafts there is a number stamped on the outside, (MW 18 VZ) is what it says. My question is what does that number mean stand for? I have 3 other shafts all have different numbers, wondering if I can use any of these for spares. Other shafts numbers are (MW 18 BC), (H5 S 12), and (MW 9 DR). Any info greatly appreciated.

Anyone have any ideas? Also what are some of you guys running for lockers? What do you like or dislike? I want to install lockers and gears, truck I bout was welded in the rear. I'm thinking about running 4.56 to 5.13 range, not exactly sure yet.

Numbers/letters marked on housings cannot be decoded to anything FoMoCo, only refer to Dana casting and plant ID.
The Ford axle ID tag is under one a the bolts that retains the inspection cover to the housing.
The Dana ID tag is bolted to the housing to the left of the inspection cover.
The AXLE code is listed on the Warranty Plate.
