need help pulling codes
is there anybody who can walk me through pulling codes with a digital voltmeter?
I tried yesterday and got all kinds of 3 digit numbers, but I don't know what continuity setting I'm supposed to have the meter on or even if it really is supposed to be on ohms. I'm basically asking for step by step or somebody to hold my hand, preferably a Blondie with an English accent...oh wait that's my wife

I assume this is to get E4OD codes so you will need to keep the gas pedal to the floor during the test (key on engine off). I would also think you should get 2 digit codes.
