Chip to increase mileage

I recently purchased a 2007 F250 Super Duty, it is raised with big tires. My first few tanks of diesel have averaged about 9 MPG whether towing my travel trailer or not. I have heard I can purchase a chip to increase mileage when not towing but I am not mechanically inclined, am looking for help from those in the know.

Swing down to the 6.0l section. They can give you info on the tuners that work best for the 6.0l (SCT and Spartan) and can recommend a possible gear swap depending on the tires your running.
