351w build questions

I have a 79 351w in my lifted 91 f150. It has a weiand Stealth intake with a eldle 600. I am pulling it, i bought a cam a lunati 61003 cam with lifters and shorty headers, i am taking the heads off to have them gone through, shaved a little and my new valve springs. any other suggestions, motor has a new rebuild so i do not want to mess with rings and bore, any cheap tricks with heads or anything i can know about. cam specs intake lift .522 dur 268 please let me know thanks!!!!

Don't put a red cent into those heads, go find some GT40's.

ya i agree but i cannot find them out there for a decent price.

Get E7TE's then, even though they don't flow any better they will boost compression without the need for the custom length pushrods that shaved smog heads will need. Otherwise you picked some nice parts that will produce a pretty good combo
