A Big thank you
I recently replaced my heater core in my 1997 F150 4.6 4wd. I couldn't imagine how difficult and frustrating that job would have been if I hadn't had this forum to guide me to the links that someone was nice enough to put together for the do it your self-er. The 20 pages of instructions were invaluable. It was easy and at times I thought it wasn't going to happen but it did and everything is back together and working fine. When talking to people I constantly tell them to find a forum before they start work on their vehicle and if they drive a Ford truck I tell them this is the place to come for answers and advice. I do have a couple of questions having done this. Why did Ford go to the quick release hose and the valve in the heater core hose to reduce pressure from the radiator? What increased the pressure that this was necessary. Thanks again
