Recommendations for 150+ Maintenance

So I'm looking for suggestions. I have just over 150k on my truck and am having a few minor issues.

1. Tranny seems to have periods of surging or better yet appears to be driving as if under a restriction then every so ofter that restriction is released and it just pulls great. Fluid is fine yet I would bet it needs, at a minimum, filter change. I know what worse case is.

2. HOPO Line. Well it has a slight leak so I need to get that fixed.

3. Front end is somewhat wore out. It's a F350 with a 9' flatbed (#1200 lbs).

I want to get another 75,000 or so before purchasing a new truck. With that said I am willing to dump $5K into to keep it on the road a little longer. Suggestions for maintenance issues. Side Note: My brother works for Ford so I get parts at his price.

Thanks
Mike

Change all your fluids and filters, replace any worn parts on the front end, replace the o-rings on the HPO line and drive it. Installing a shift kit or modified valve body in the tranny might help depending on what your problem is. Don't forget new shocks.

Grease the front hub wheel bearings through the ABS sensor hole, and service the hub locks. Do that at the same time you replace the ball joints, and there will be virtually no extra time or labor.

Well it's not the HPOP. Appears to be located rear passanger side. Will be taking it in to have a dye test.

PS Sorry for the late response. Forgot my password. That's what I get for checking the "Remember Me" box...

Right now I have to get the oil leak under control. My employeer will not allow any leaking vehicles at work so that's priority one. After wards I'll work on the above items, one at a time. Waiting to see that above cause and cost before moving forward....
