How do I fix power steering?

I need help. Just after I replaced my transmission, my power steering is going out. I don't have money right now to replace it. I can't believe how many things have gone wrong with this truck. Two turbos, hopp, wire loom, ficm, alternator, torsion bar link, oil cooler, transmission, I've done an egr block off, and coolant filter. 3" straight pipe. 04 56000 miles. can any one help? or just send some c4!

if you want I can move this to SuperDuty or you can create a new thread. Be more specific on what you are experiencing with your power steering unit.

Do you need to replace the pump, a hose or the hydroboost unit?

my truck is a 04, 6.0 powerstroke super duty. 56000 miles. I think I need a new power steering pump. I have stock tires, always have. I just don't have money to buy a new pump right now. I spent it all on the new transmission last week. It's hard to turn, and when I press on the brake hard and try to turn at the same time, it will not turn at all. I think I'm going to rip the steering wheel off as I try to turn it. No leaks that I can see, fluids are all in check. hope that helps explain.

You need to get a press. test done. That could also desribe a bad steering box.
