help

ok here is my problem i have a 1993 f150 302 with E40D. My problem is that while im driving sometimes my speedo starts to trip out or it will stop working altogether and when it stops working my trans will not shift right or properly. any ideas on what it is or could be.

VSS sensor on top the rear axle is dying a slow, painful, death.........replace, happy motoring.

thats what i thought it was i have bought 4 different ones and when i put it in the speedo dont work at all.

Speedo PSOM is dead, time to start looking for a similar mile replacement from the J-yard.

check wiring connection to VSS.

Try disconnecting the RABS module behind the glove box. I did that an my speedometer is working smooth. I'm waiting for a replacement.
