Was driving on a short in-town errand and suddenly the truck started shuddering or bucking when running. The CEL has not come on. On testing, shudder is not noticeable until accelerate to about 25 mph, and then during any speed-up unless I push pedal hard to floor, then it blows by the shudder but it returns when stop fast accelaration. Starts and idles OK, although I think I notice a small amount of rough idle.
Codes: got no KOEO or Continuous codes except 11 (check OK), but got a 41, and later a 45 and 46 during the engine running test. In my Haynes Repair Manual these refer to secondary air (thermator system). Quick check of vaccuum lines - they seem OK. Before I start trying to troubleshoot the thermator/secondary air system components, could the rough running/shuddering symptoms at all be related to the secondary air system?
Or is it more likely clogged cats?
Thanks so much for any help.

Reason: Clarity, more info.
Still hoping for some help....does the lack of replies indicate the secondary air system is never related to the rough acceleration/running, or do I need to provide any more info?
Thought I would drop a line and see if i could help. 41 seems to point to "LEAN HEGO CONDITION". When was the lsat time you changed the HEGO sensor? Should be in the "H" pipe befor the 1st cat. You may also have a Signaling O2 sensor in the passenger side manifold.
Here is a Good site for some clarity on 2-diit codes. Helped me at least. Try a look here. Ford Bronco EEC IV Codes
check your fuel pressure... do you have 2 tanks? does it do it on both of them? A while back mine was doing the same thing and it was a fuel filter and pump going out...
