GAS LIGHTS ON???????

Since my overhead console is broken, when that gas light comes on i cant remember if its 50miles to empty or 60 but it is 50miles tho.
am i right or no??
let me know how far you guys get

every truck is different.

i allways fillup at 1/4 tank though, i cant stand worrying about running out of gas. dont think i've ever seen the low fuel light come on honestly lol

I have an '04 V-10 and gas light comes on when I have 50 miles to empty.

And avoiding fuel pump getting hot means avoiding problems with it.

Ran mine just till the light came on then filled her up. Had 8 gallons left in the tank so I would say I have about 50 miles or so to be on the safe side. 2002 7.3
