Ohming GPs

When you are Ohming glow plugs through the harness plug pins does the truck need to be running or key on? Or the GPR active vs inactive or what?

No. You need to just touch one lead to the pin(s) in the harness and the other to the engine head.

No. Engine off. Unplug the wiring harness from the VC connection and use the center pin for the gorund also. That will give you a good ground. Or use the head.

I thought the center pin was the ground for the injectors. When unplugged they are not grounded.

Thanks gentlemen. I figured that would be the case since I'm measuring resistance but I'm no electrical guru by a long shot.
