So, from reading a bunch of post from you experts, I'm trying to dertermine which engine I have in my recently purchased 79 F-150 4x4.
The valve covers have 8 bolts holding them down.
The thermostat is attached to the block, not the intake manifold.
Does this narrow down the possibilities?
What should I look for next to get an exact ID?
The valve covers do not have the ID sticker, and I am not certain that the engine is original.
According to the VIN, I should have a 351M.
Thanks for any help!
