Running lights/Back-up lights???
Toying with the idea of using some old running/fog lights for back up lights.
I have 3 sets I pulled from the "I may need that later bin". My wife says I have a disease "The Pack Rat Syndrome"
My question is how do I test the lights to see if they work before I mount them? Some have 1 wire through the base and some have 2 wires through the base. Can I use a battery or jumper box? Hook what to where? One set is KC brand and I don't remember the others. Probably makes more sense to buy new but I hate not to try. Any help or direction appreciated. Thanks for reading.

Yes you can quickly test them with a battery or booster pack.
For the lights with two wires coming out, just touch one wire to "-" and the other to "+".
For the lights with one wire, touch the wire to "+" and touch the metal mounting bracket to "-".
