Before my head injury I could figure this out. What I'm wondering about is adding a trickle charger for the batteries. I'm curious if all I do is add it to the Passenger side and everything is hunky dory at 12 volts? From what I understand, the two batteries together turn over a 24 volt charger. Somebody please straighten out my dyslexic mind.. Thanks..
Nope, just a 12 volt system. There's just a jumper wire tying the two batteries together. Charge the passenger and it will charge the driver side too since they're connected.
I guess you've got a long time between driving the truck?

Well, I try to start her every few days but have been sick lately. I figure I could at least keep the old batteries peaked as the temps start to decend (I'm at 6200' near Santa Fe). I figure the sooner it starts the better.
I guess the next question would be is about the block heater. Reading the manual I found the heater warms the antifreeze. Is it ok to plug in and let sit? Is there a thermostat?
i would not let it sit with the block heater pluged in for long lenghts of time i have mine on a timer to come on for 2hrs then off for2hrs then back on and keep repeating till it's time to start it
