The best you can hope for is a comfortable "transaction". What ever you feel comfortable with. Thats why its a good idea to do a bit of research on the model you want and know about what invoice is and get them to show you invoice. Dealers are gonna make money on the deal one way or another. They have a way to move numbers around that will make ones head spin. Anything at invoice plus or minus 500 is a fair transaction in my opinion. Then tack on the rebates/discounts, etc. I got just under $500 above invoice, $1500 was the only rebate at the time but I got an additional $500 for being a repeat customer. Total off sticker was about $6100. This is not including my trade. Not the best deal but I was comfortable enough with it.

There have been similar threads, I posted one as well back in July. I think the rule of thumb is around 12% off sticker price is doing very well, 10% is good.
FYI, the RV purchase suggestions are running about 30% off MSRP. I'd rather buy new vehicles than work an RV deal. I hate going through that.

I think you did good. There will always be someone that got a better deal, but there will also always be someone with a bigger house and more money and.........
The way I look at it is that I can't un-ring the bell and as long as the purchase was not compulsive, was well researched and I made the best deal I could, so be it. No Regrets.
