In my 2011 F250 SD I have this really annoying rattle/knock/thumping sound coming from the back seat on the passenger side rear panel while driving. Its there at slower speeds but not so much at higher speeds. Took the panels off and found nothing. Took out the tray thats under the seats and padded it. Put extra padding around the jack. What it sounds like is a electrical connector knocking against the cab frame panel close to the right rear speaker. I can't find anything. Is it me or do any of your guys have this noise?
Either the connector for the rear speaker in the cab corner has come unclipped from the metal framework or you have a piece of rear door window guide that has come loose. I had a combop of both on my '99.
So today I decide to remove the rear seats, rear panel, and side panels so I can find my annoying knock/rattle. What I found was almost nothing. There's nothing loose at all. There's really nothing back there to make noise. All wiring harnesses are solid. This is what I did find, the seat belt mounting brackets for the rear seats are different on the passenger and driver rear seats. The passenger side of the rear seat has a rectangle shaped bracket that is one piece. The drivers side of the rear seat has 2 separate seat belt brackets that swivel on shoulder bolts. These brackets swiveled, moved, and rattled all to hell on the shoulder bolts. I installed nylon washers to the shoulder bolts above and below the brackets and bolted the seat belt brackets down solid. No movement now what so ever. So we shall see if my knock/rattle returns.
