4x4 question

Hi I have a 2001 EX 7.3 4x4. I put Warn manual locking hubs on it. The vac lines to the hubs were cracked. Question is do i need to plug the vac lines for the transfer case to engage the 4wd? Thanks

No, not for the transfer case, but for your interior vents to work. The vac system defaults to windshield only defrost when it has a vac leak, and it would do just that unless you plugged them. Also a good idea to plug the vac ports on the hubs also.
