Clicking under dash noise

I have a clicking noise that drives me nuts...

Usually only happens if I drive btw 30 and 50mph....above or belowit goes away.

its like behind the dash board guages...

I thought it was the wiper motor but I could not see loose parts...

This weekend I wasshed the truck and put a vaccum to blow right by the wiper motor...

Now the noise stopped but this morning I hear a faint clicking or more like cliNking...

What the heck can that be on a 1998 F-250?

Has it happen to you?

have you recently purchased this truck and is it a light duty f250. I have a 2001 f150 that made a "clunk" noise shortly after I got it and I could not figure out what it was but later found out that it was missing out. I did a tune up on it and then it went away.

FYI....this annoying clicking sound was coming from a loose metal L bracket that had come loose from its screwed on position.

The bracket is under the hood, behing the throttle body, the bracket is attached to one of the hoses that make up part of the EGR system...

After a certain speed the bracket was crashing into the body making the loud clicking noise....
