XLT molded running boards

Plan on ordering a XLT crew cab dually with the standard molded running boards and wondering if anyone had these and if they like them

I had them on my last truck. They are very functional, but will fade with time. Once they start to show their age there doesn't seem to be anything you can do to make them look new again.

When they eventually show their age you can always take them off and put some chrome ones on.

I have them on my truck, I think the are more functional that the tube running boards in that they don't allow mud and or snow up around them. however I will say they do look pretty plain and not very fancy, kinda looks work truckish. they do feel heavy duty and solid. you can get aftermarket stainless tube steps for $200 or so, keep that in mind.

i had the tube on my 06 F250 and hated em they got hung on stuff and just hung low to me i like the molded ones alot better but keep inmind i go thur hay feilds cow pasters and stuff like that
