1986 F150 had a leaky wheel cylinder which ran master cylinder dry. I refilled master cylinder, wheel cylinder and washed brakes down with brakekleen and then sanded drum and pads and then bled rear brakes. The pedal seems very hard, brake booster and master cyl. less than a year old. Check valve on booster works good, no leaks that I can hear and plenty of vac. What am I missing.
The pedal is too hard. It seems like I have a blockage because it's stopping poorly. I did not bleed the master cyl. but did bleed the rears with no problem.
you're right about the brake cleaner "brakeleen" found the brake glazed, replaced shoes. Going to bled the whole thing like u suggest starting with master cyl. Thanks
