Yes the French jokes etc. can be funny...
however..i'm French...born and raised in Paris.
I am proud of my heritage.and still have family in that country.
Please give it a rest.
thank you
Just because the government of said county may have their heads up their butts, does not mean we need to bash the people. Although I am sure there is a lot of American bashing since our government spends a lot of time mining in corn holes.
The French are protecting a foolish investment over lives. You support them, I will not. It's like Turkey saying they don't want to let us use their bases for 24 billion dollars USD because of the bad light it will put them in. The light they want is 32 billion.
As far as bashing, the French have been doing their snooty American bashing for all of my lifetime. (I'm almost 60)
Last night there was a program on Fox telling about the Joe Millionaire program and they quoted the French chef in a unprovoked Anti-American slam. Screw him and the snails he's cooking. Many Americans have visited France and reported the same 'better that you attitude' towards Americans for decades.
It's a two way street, I'm sorry you like it better there and are stuck here.
I will say that I haven't met any French people that I dislike, however it is your government that I truly despise. While French people are friendly and hospitable, their governement seems to have forgotten that if not for the USA, they would be speaking German and eating Sourkraut.
The French government has no excuse for the immaturity and snobbery it has shown the world, and it has cast an shadow on America's views of those otherwise God-fearing, peaceful people.

I see you didn't read the post...
Nowhere was it said that this site was not viewed outsite of our borders. It was said that this is an American site... and referred to freedom of speech.
In other words, we don't care what the French think.
To the original poster, if you don't like the bashing... don't read it.
yea honest to god, if you don't like it then don't read it. can't say anything anymore without pissing someone off. thats too bad. 99 percent of the people on this board are americans. if we want to joke around about the french because of what they are doing to us, and we keep it clean, then leave us be. your just like the french government, sticking your nose in americas business and causing trouble for us!
I know I shouldn't post this, but I can't help myself.
What do you think the reaction would be if there were numerous anti-American, pro French posts on this board? Do you think it would be all rosy, pro freedom of speech, "if you don't like it don't read it"? Do you think the replies would be as polite and curteous as the original post?

Yes, Freedom of Speech is wonderful.
As long as the FTE posting guideline's are not infringed upon.
Be Courteous and Respectful
================================================== ===============
Do not post vulgar, obscene, sexually explicit, racial epithets,
harassing, abusive, hateful, libelous, expletives, derogatory or
defamatory words or phases, in any variation. The goal of Ford
Truck Enthusiasts, Inc. is to be a family friendly service and
such content undermines that goal.

Just a thought.

there wouldn't be numerous anti american pro french posts on this board because the vast majority of the people that use this board are american, patriotic, ford truck driving, conservative men and women. i wouldn't be here if it wasn't for those factors.
i would know better than to go instigate anything on a pro french site, or even a ricer site for that matter.... those people all generally have something in common and im not a part of that, therefore my comments have no place there. and i respect them for whatever it is they have in common and leave them be. if the french want to make fun of americans on their websites and the ricer boys want to make fun of pickup trucks on their websites, then i have no problem with that. i just don't go bothering them about it. the only thing that you are going to do by opening your mouth in a situation such as this is to **** people off even more. which is what you see happening in this post dont you?
