Finally got my edge insight in and after installation I drove for about 1hr. unloaded. After 30 mins temps ranged from ECT 182-189 EOT 220-228 Btw stock gauges never moved.
Just returned from a 2500 mile trip and lost about a 1/3 gallon of coolant.
Ordering egr and oil coolers from bulletproof diesel, a coolant filter and picking up everything for flush tomorrow. Where can I get the updated fuel pressure spring?
With that type of spread, should I be concerned about anything else? Is there anything else I should do while im working on it this weekend?
Thanks in advance.

You might consider replacing the t-stat while you've got it out. Usually the ECTs run higher than 189°.

Disclaimer: my ECT was also running a tad on the low side, but a new t-stat didn't change it much.

You have to get the PRESSURE REGULATOR KIT # 3C3Z-9T517-AG
I got mine from:
www.partsguyed.com who is a sponsor on FTE.
The oil temp should be no more than 15 degrees hotter than coolant temp.

Rocky, arn't you suppose to check the fuel pressure at wot before you change the spring? IIRC too much pressure is not good also.

The updated fuel regulator is made to give you the proper fuel pressure provided that everything else is working correctly.
