One thing I didn't mention in the video is I opted not to use the fender protector that comes in the kit. It's similar to the clear film protector that is on the rear fender behind the wheels. It's applied with water and cured over 24 hours. Seemed like a bit of a pain to me and I don't plan to ever remove the flaps so I didn't include that step. Just an FYI.
I had a set of flaps on my 04 and the flap wore a little paint away. It was not loose, not sure how it moved. So I did put the protective tape on comly took a couple of min. I put all four on then went back to the first one and installed flaps. No problem also after I drilled the hole on the truck I took the flap off to make sure all the metal shavings were out so they don't rust and leave Rust marks leaking out. Great videos, keep them coming
Are those flaps flexible enough that if you came down on a rock would they bend and flex out of the way or would they bend the fender. I like the looks of these much better than the softer rubber flaps just don't know if I would have an issue off road.
I just received my new Husky mud flaps for my 2012 F350 and am really impressed with the quality, fit and finish. I will install tomorrow but I held them in place and they fit like they were born there. Really like the look and for the price I don't think they can be beat. I paid $59.97 for the set of 4 and couldn't be happier. Judging from the video install should be a snap. I can't believe how much crap these trucks throw up on the body.
Hard to tell, but are the flares on the F350 smaller at the bottom end compared to those on my '09 F450? I'm hoping to find front flaps to fit my F450 KR and I'm wondering if these particular flaps will fit the bill?
I'm not in snow country but I just installed these last week. The new ones come with 3M clear film to protect the paint and also have an extra screw on the bottom of the rear flaps mentioned by someone in the thread.
My truck does not have factory wheel flares and the flaps fit perfectly and are solidly mounted. Anyone with factory flares may have a hard time with these though, that's a different animal.
Added front Husky flaps to the new truck today. (Amazon Prime). Nicely made item. Simple enough to install using simple tools. Epic did a nice job with his video. I will report back on them and the snow.
Someone here said that this should save my running boards. Had two sets on the 2011 (Dealer replaced item) and both were very crappy after one winter. I am expecting more of the same from the 2015 running boards.

Wanted to give a brief update. We have had some snow since I've put these flaps on. Seems like we have had snow almost every other day since xmas. The flaps work good in the snow. Stops the big chunks of ice from building up under the running boards. Ice still forms, just smaller chunks.
